Southeast Asia Market Development Manager

Job Responsibilities:
1. Drawing on personal experience living and working in Southeast Asia, assist the company in expanding into the two-wheeled electric motorcycle markets in Southeast Asian countries such as Vietnam, Malaysia, and Thailand, and carry out market research, channel development, and localization efforts;
2. Be familiar with local laws, regulations, and policy requirements to provide localized compliance consulting, risk management, and implementation recommendations to support the company’s overseas market expansion and compliant operations;
3. Be responsible for communication and coordination with local partners, distributors, and resource providers in Southeast Asia, as well as business negotiations, to build a localized partnership network;
4. Be responsible for collecting local market information, analyzing industry trends, and conducting competitor research; provide market expansion recommendations and assist in developing marketing strategies tailored to local conditions;
5. Facilitate two-way communication between local languages (Vietnamese/Thai/Malay) and Chinese, as well as translate materials, to ensure smooth and efficient business coordination and communication;
6. In line with the company’s business development needs, implement overseas market collaboration projects, maintain distribution channels, and follow up on business matters to drive the localization and sales of two-wheeled electric motorcycle products.
Job Requirements:
1. Extensive experience living and working in Southeast Asian countries such as Vietnam, Malaysia, and Thailand, with in-depth understanding of the local social environment, business ecosystem, and consumer habits;
2. Proficiency in both the local language and Chinese, enabling seamless business negotiations, daily communication, and document exchange;
3. Familiarity with local laws, regulations, industry policies, and market supervision requirements in target countries, and the ability to provide compliance support for overseas operations;
4. Experience in market expansion, business partnerships, and channel development is preferred; candidates with resources in the two-wheeled electric vehicle/electric motorcycle or transportation industries will be given preference;
5. Strong communication and presentation skills, excellent business negotiation abilities, and the capacity to independently source resources and drive projects to completion;
6. Proactive and highly responsible, able to adapt to short-term business trips or long-term assignments in Southeast Asia, and aligned with the company’s overseas market development strategy.
