Export Area Manager – Middle East & Africa / Asia

Carex Sweden is a growing international company operating in clean cosmetics, dermocosmetics and FMCG, with products available across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, CIS and Asian markets.

For our Istanbul office, we are looking for Export Area Managers who will report directly to the Export Manager and be responsible for one of the following regions:

• Middle East & Africa
• Asia

Candidates are required to indicate the region they are applying for as “Middle East & Africa” or “Asia.” For the Middle East & Africa region, fluency in Arabic or French, in addition to English, is required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field,
• Minimum 5 years of experience in export sales, business development or distributor management,
• Experience in FMCG, preferably cosmetics, personal care or dermocosmetics,
• Excellent command of English,
• Fluency in Arabic or French for the Middle East & Africa region,
• Experience in developing new markets and distributor networks,
• Strong negotiation, communication and follow-up skills,
• Target and result-oriented mindset,
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Job Description

• Managing export sales activities in the assigned region,
• Developing new markets, customers and distributor opportunities,
• Managing existing distributor relationships and sales performance,
• Preparing regional sales targets, budgets and business plans,
• Conducting market, competitor, pricing and channel analyses,
• Managing commercial negotiations and distributor processes,
• Preparing sales and marketing plans together with distributors,
• Visiting assigned markets regularly,
• Working closely with relevant departments throughout the export process,
• Reporting regional sales results and market developments to the Export Manager.
