Business Development – Edge Processing Software and Services

Business Development is a key role in the Software and Services Group (SSG). SSG is focused on servicing high-growth markets with a combination of commercial software, professional services and ecosystem partners to speed time to market for NXP’s customers. The products and services provided by SSG are based on embedded systems and networking concepts, and include VortiQa, CodeWarrior, Linux, Security, Internal SW IP, Hardware solutions and Professional Services. This position will be responsible for identifying, development and closing services opportunities with an identified business objective. Successful candidates will have a track record of account identification, development and closure working technical, business and legal issues to reach a win-win resolution for both NXP and Customer. The position will interface with Customers, the NXP Global Sales and Marketing teams, Legal, Finance and R&D Staff.

This position is located at the Guadalajara site of NXP.

Required Skills

• Minimum BSEE or BSCS, with MBA preferred.
• 5-10+ years of relevant business development, sales or customer facing roles.
• Demonstrated capability to identify, business plan, engage and close complex software, hardware and services opportunities in the networking and industrial markets.
• Knowledge of software pricing models, service level agreements, software contracts and contract processing.
• Knowledge of embedded software products, use cases and networking market.
• Excellent communication skills including oral and written English skills.
• Confident, articulate and professional speaking abilities
• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
• Excellent teamwork skills in a global environment.
• Self-motivated with a passion to succeed.
