A global, mission-driven medical device company are seeking a Business Development Manager to join them in the Mid-Atlantic region (Maryland, Virginia, Atlanta, Nashville, North Carolina). If you are both farmer and hunter in the IDN space looking for a role that promises autonomy and significant growth, please keep reading!

The Medical Device Company:

This is a leading medical device company with circa 2,500 employees globally. Their devices are rooted in a number of healthcare establishments, inclusive of hospitals, medical education institutes, universities and service institutions to ensure that frontline nurse practitioners, trainee medics and service men & women are providing their respiratory patients with the absolute best (often emergency) care possible.

This team have worked hard to curate a really strong business culture, eager to maintain that family feel (despite their global reach) and spur long employee tenure - they consistently promote from within and look to upskill employees continually throughout the year. The team look for equally passionate professionals to join them, those that thrive as part of a team and are looking to find a home in their next opportunity.

The Opportunity:

This role has been newly created so has a great deal of opportunity attached to it! As the BDM, you will support the rapidly growing hospital business by building & growing key relationships across major health systems while also identifying new regional opportunities and partnerships.

This is not a traditional med device territory role. It is a hybrid position combining strategic Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) account management with regional business development, focused on improving healthcare outcomes through long-term partnerships, innovation, and system-level engagement.

This is a high-autonomy role where you will:

  • Build strategic partnerships across large health systems and IDNs
  • Develop multi-year account plans aligned to organizational priorities and outcomes
  • Engage executive-level stakeholders including health system leadership, education leaders, clinical leadership, and operational decision-makers
  • Identify and develop new regional partnerships with hospital associations, healthcare organizations, and commercial partners
  • Own and execute a thoughtful territory growth strategy.

What the team is looking for:

  • Experience selling into hospitals, health systems, and/or Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs).
  • A blend of strategic account management and new business development experience.
  • Ability to engage executive-level stakeholders and navigate complex healthcare systems.
  • Experience building long-term account strategies, partnerships, or growth plans.
  • Self-motivated, commercially minded, and comfortable working autonomously.

Relevant backgrounds may include medical devices, healthcare IT, healthcare SaaS, enterprise healthcare solutions, GPOs, hospital partnerships, or strategic healthcare commercial roles.
