Key Responsibilities


Commercial Origination & Partnerships

  • Identify, approach, and develop relationships with data center operators, hyperscalers, cloud providers, AI infrastructure companies, and strategic customers.
  • Lead commercial discussions with potential partners, operators, tenants, and investors.
  • Structure and negotiate LOIs, MOUs, partnership frameworks, and other commercial agreements.


  • Build and maintain a strong network across the European data center ecosystem.


Strategy &Market Development

  • Support Enery’s data center market entry and expansion strategy across selected European markets.
  • Analyze demand drivers, including cloud growth, AI, high-performance computing, digital infrastructure, and power availability.
  • Monitor competitor activity, operator requirements, pricing trends, and site selection criteria.


Project Commercialization

  • Work closely with development, technical, legal, finance, and investment teams to align projects with customer and operator requirements.
  • Support business case development, commercial structuring, and financial modeling assumptions.
  • Help define project positioning, customer targeting, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Contribute to the preparation of investment materials, partner presentations, and board-level decision documents.


Stakeholder Management

  • Represent Enery in senior-level discussions with operators, customers, advisors, and industry partners.
  • Participate in industry conferences, trade fairs, and customer meetings.
  • Coordinate external consultants, brokers, legal advisors, and technical partners where required.
  • Guide country managers and development teams in several Central European countries.


  • Act as a key internal interface between commercial opportunities and project development execution.


Key Requirements


  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Real Estate, Economics, Energy, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, commercial development, strategic partnerships, infrastructure, real estate, energy, or technology-related sectors.
  • Proven ability to originate, structure, and manage complex commercial opportunities.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders, customers, partners, or investors.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
  • Professional proficiency in other European languages is considered an advantage but is not mandatory.


Preferred Experience


  • Direct experience in data centers, digital infrastructure, telecommunications, energy infrastructure, utilities, or real estate development.
  • Existing networks within the European data center, cloud,hyperscale, or infrastructure investment ecosystem are a plus.
  • Understanding data center site selection, power requirements, grid access, PPAs, or energy procurement.
  • Experience with LOIs, MOUs, joint development agreements, lease structures, or strategic partnership agreements.
  • Familiarity with project development, investment processes, and infrastructure business models.

Statutory notice: In accordance with the Austrian collective agreement for employees in information and consulting, the minimum gross monthly salary for this full-time position (40 hours/week) is €2.534,74. Please note that this is a legal requirement. Still, your actual compensation will be based on your qualifications and professional experience, and we would be happy to discuss it with you personally.
