Our team consists of experienced accounting professionals with expertise in QuickBooks Online, bookkeeping, reconciliations, month-end close, financial reporting, payroll, sales tax, and accounting cleanups. We help CPA firms increase their capacity, reduce operating costs, and deliver high-quality services to their clients.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Business Development Manager based in California to help us expand our network of CPA firm partners.
Responsibilities
- Identify and visit CPA firms throughout California to introduce our services.
- Build relationships with CPA firm owners, partners, and decision-makers.
- Present our outsourcing solutions and explain how our services can benefit their firm.
- Generate new business opportunities through in-person meetings, networking, referrals, and follow-up.
- Schedule discovery meetings and presentations with prospective clients.
- Maintain and manage a pipeline of qualified prospects.
- Follow up consistently with leads and nurture long-term relationships.
- Represent the company professionally at networking events, conferences, and business meetings.
- Collaborate with our leadership team to develop sales strategies and close new partnerships.
- Provide regular updates on sales activities, opportunities, and market feedback.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable with face-to-face sales and frequent travel throughout California.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to confidently present services to business owners and executives.
- Experience selling professional services is preferred.
- Knowledge of the accounting industry or previous experience working with CPA firms is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
