Key Responsibilities
- Partnership Development
- Build and manage your own target list of prospective partners aligned with Sokin's strategic goals in the UAE and broader GCC region
- Own the full pipeline from identification through to close, engaging key decision-makers and negotiating partnership agreements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and execution of partnerships
- Work closely with the Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager and GCC Embedded Partnership Director to align on target segments and account prioritisation
- Relationship Management
- Warm handover of closed partnerships to the partner relationship manager, ensuring a smooth transition and clear context on the account
- Support the relationship manager where needed during the early stages of the partnership
- Market & Sector Focus
- Build a strong understanding of the GCC payments landscape, including Fintech, Banks, FIs, ecommerce, marketplaces, travel, and logistics
- Target mid-enterprise-level organisations with FX and cross-border payment needs
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in business development, partnerships, or sales within financial services, payments, remittance, or ecommerce
- Track record of building pipeline and closing partnership or new business deals independently
- Solid understanding of cross-border payments, FX, and the local regulatory environment
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially driven with the ability to work autonomously against targets
- Experience in a high-growth FinTech or startup environment is preferred but not essential
- Passion for payments, fintech innovation, and evolving digital ecosystems
