Senior Power Originator

Hungary is one of the key growth markets within our power portfolio, and we are looking for an experienced Power Originator to help turn that potential into long-term business success.

This is an opportunity for a commercially driven energy professional who enjoys building new opportunities from the ground up, developing strategic relationships, and structuring complex energy solutions. Rather than stepping into an established territory, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our presence in the Hungarian market and shaping our future growth.

You will have a high degree of autonomy, direct exposure to decision-makers across the industry, and a tangible impact on the commercial success of our power business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Taking ownership of origination activities and commercial growth in the Hungarian power market
• Identifying, developing, and executing new business opportunities across renewable energy producers, industrial consumers, utilities, traders, and other market participants
• Structuring, negotiating, and closing a wide range of energy agreements, including Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), offtake agreements, balancing services, forecasting services, and supply contracts
• Building and maintaining long-term partnerships with power generators, corporate energy buyers, and strategic stakeholders
• Developing and executing a market-focused origination strategy aligned with business objectives
• Acting as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their energy needs and delivering tailored commercial solutions
• Monitoring market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging opportunities to identify new business streams
• Contributing directly to revenue growth and profitability through successful deal origination and execution

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in energy origination, power trading, utility-scale renewables, energy supply, or commercial energy sales
• Strong understanding of the Hungarian electricity market and its regulatory environment
• Hands-on experience with PPAs, offtake agreements, energy supply contracts, or related commercial energy solutions
• An established network within the Hungarian energy sector, ideally including generators, utilities, traders, aggregators, or large industrial consumers
• Demonstrated ability to independently identify, develop, and close commercial opportunities
• Commercially minded professional with an entrepreneurial and proactive approach
• Strong negotiation, communication, and contract-structuring skills
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to business development
• Native-level Hungarian and professional English language skills
