Become Our Nordic Distribution Channel Strategist
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Distribution Channel Manager to lead our efforts in the Nordic region for SI Buildings. This is a pivotal role where you'll be instrumental in strengthening our presence and driving substantial growth through our valued distribution partners.
This is a role for a strategic orchestrator with proven experience in partner management. Someone who understands that success in distribution comes from building a structured, high-functioning cooperation. You'll bring your expertise to the table to help us elevate our distribution channel strategy, ensuring that Siemens is the most relevant and easiest partner to work with across the Nordics, while simultaneously ensuring the alignment of internal Siemens stakeholders to the strategy.
What You'll Do: Orchestrate and Coordinate
- Strategic Channel Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive, structured distribution strategy for the SI Buildings portfolio across Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland.
- Strategic Cooperation: Move beyond transactional relationships to lead "Joint Business Planning" with our key Nordic distributors, ensuring long-term alignment and stronger
- Internal & External Orchestration: Act as the central interface between our global product hubs, local marketing, and the distribution channel to ensure a seamless flow of
- Partner Empowerment: Work closely with existing Nordic distributors to identify growth opportunities and enhance their technical and commercial capabilities, ensuring they are
- Channel Governance: Monitor and analyze distribution channel performance through a structured lens, implementing corrective actions and optimizing processes.
- Market Penetration: Identify and onboard new strategic distribution partners to expand our market reach in key segments where we see untapped potential.
- Relationship Maintenance: Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within our distribution network, acting with a Strategic Account
The role requires personal presence with our partners, so you can expect 1-2 days of travel in the Nordics monthly.
What You'll Bring
- Proven Distribution Expertise: You have a solid background in the distribution industry (Building Technology, Electrical, or HVAC). You understand the "how-to" of building
value within a distribution channel.
- The "Orchestrator" Mindset: You are a structured professional who excels at coordinating complex tasks across different countries and departments.
- Strategic Thinker & Doer: You take full ownership of the entire lifecycle with the ability to develop high-level strategic plans and translate them into actionable, result-
- Strategic Account Management Skills: Experience in managing large, complex partnerships where the focus is on long-term cooperation and ecosystem health.
- Strong Communication skills: To effectively involve external as well as internal stakeholders clearly portraying the purpose and value of your developed initiatives.
- Exceptional Relationship Builder: Outstanding interpersonal skills, with a knack for building trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders both internal and external.
- Strong Business Acumen: Ability to understand financial metrics, market analysis, and the operational drivers of a wholesale business.
- Fluent in English: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in one or more Nordic languages is a plus.
