Senior Southeast Sales & Business Development Manager — Poultry Equipment | Gainesville, GA

A client of Cambridge Consulting Group LLC is seeking a Senior Southeast Sales & Business Development Manager — Poultry Equipment to build and lead their US market entry in Gainesville, Georgia. The single most important Year 1–2 outcome is winning Aytav's first US reference installation — the anchor milestone that opens the door to every integrator conversation that follows.

Aytav is entering the US poultry equipment market and needs an experienced, senior commercial professional to lead it — someone who has spent years inside the integrator buying process and knows the Southeast market from the farm level up.

This is not a role inside an established US operation with existing customers and a built territory. This is the founding commercial hire for Aytav USA Inc. — our first US subsidiary, based in Gainesville, Georgia. You will build the relationships, set the process, and define how Aytav is known in Georgia, Alabama, Arkansas, and North Carolina. The title reflects the seniority and autonomy the role demands.

About Aytav

Aytav Poultry Equipment is a 35+ year Turkish manufacturer exporting to 105+ countries. Full product range: cage systems, feeding, watering, heating, transport coops, chicken loading systems, chick boxes and equipment, broiler equipment, breeder equipment, ventilation, and incubation equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Relationship Building & Market Development

  • Build direct relationships with Southeast poultry integrators — Wayne-Sanderson Farms, Koch Foods, Tyson, Fieldale Farms, Mar-Jac, and regional independents — and with the contract growers whose equipment decisions influence what integrators buy and when
  • Open and develop conversations with procurement and live production leadership at target integrators
  • Evaluate, approach, and manage distributor and dealer partnership opportunities as a route-to-market alongside direct sales
  • Represent Aytav at IPPE (Atlanta, every January) and USPOULTRY events — attend as a manufacturer with product knowledge, not as a visitor
  • Lead customer visits, product demonstrations, and — where the relationship is ready — factory tours of Aytav's Türkiye facility
  • Own quarterly and annual revenue targets; develop the Year 1 and Year 2 sales forecast
  • Build and maintain a structured sales pipeline using CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent); report weekly to US Operations Director and quarterly to Aytav Türkiye leadership
  • Track competitor activity — Big Dutchman, CTB/Chore-Time, Cumberland, VAL-CO — and report on market trends, pricing, and customer feedback

The single most important outcome in Year 1–2: win Aytav's first US reference installation — the anchor milestone that opens the door to every integrator conversation that follows. One successful install in the Southeast builds more credibility than any advertising spend, trade show presence, or catalog. Everything else in this role builds toward it.

Serving as the US Market Bridge

  • Translate between Aytav Türkiye's engineering-led manufacturing culture and the US integrator's buying process — this cultural and commercial bridge is as important as the sales number itself
  • Advise Aytav's Turkish leadership on what US customers ask about, how they evaluate foreign suppliers, what product specifications and certifications are relevant, and what that means for Aytav's US product roadmap

Requirements

We consider three professional backgrounds equally valid. The common thread across all three: you have lived inside the integrator buying process.

(a) OEM side: 5–8 years in territory sales, dealer management, or product management at Big Dutchman, CTB/Chore-Time, Cumberland, VAL-CO, Hired Hand, or a comparable poultry equipment manufacturer — with a Southeast US focus

(b) Integrator live production or equipment management: 5–8 years managing live production, flock operations, or equipment procurement at a major Southeast poultry integrator — Wayne-Sanderson Farms, Koch Foods, Tyson, Fieldale Farms, Pilgrim's, or similar

(c) SE regional equipment dealer or manufacturer's rep: 5–8 years selling poultry or agricultural equipment to SE farms and integrators through a regional dealership or independent rep firm

  • Established working relationships in the Southeast US poultry belt (GA, AL, AR, NC) — at integrator procurement, live production management, or contract grower level; relationships that go past the front desk
  • CRM proficiency (HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent) — you manage your pipeline in a system, not a spreadsheet
  • Startup and greenfield comfort — you define the process, you don't inherit it
  • Travel regionally 50–60% of the time — weighted toward field presence in Year 1 as the SE territory is built; available for weekend farm visits when grower and integrator schedules require it
  • Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to contract growers, farm managers, and C-suite alike

What Will Set You Apart

  • Prior experience bridging a foreign manufacturer with US customers — import/distributor side, foreign-owned US entity, or an international OEM's North American territory
  • Familiarity with the poultry equipment certification landscape (UL/ETL, NSF, OSHA) — awareness of what customers ask about and why
  • Technical fluency: ability to read equipment drawings, discuss specifications with farm engineers, and present a full system solution (cage system, feeding line, ventilation package)
  • Contract grower network — grower association involvement, extension service relationships, or direct grower contacts that provide a path to integrator decisions from the farm level up
  • Turkish language ability — a genuine plus, not a requirement

Compensation

$100,000–$120,000 per year base salary + sales commission on closed deals

Exact compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

What Aytav Offers

  • Annual performance bonus tied to KPIs
  • Employer-provided health insurance
  • Vehicle/fuel allowance or company vehicle
  • Trade show attendance and customer field visits fully covered
  • 401(k): in process as part of Aytav USA Inc. entity setup
