Your Job
Molex is seeking a strategic, customer-facing Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive growth within a leading global enterprise infrastructure customer. This role offers the opportunity to shape next-generation technologies across AI, cloud, and advanced compute platforms by aligning Molex’s full connectivity portfolio to customer needs.
You will operate at the intersection of engineering, product strategy, and commercial execution, building deep relationships with customer engineering teams, influencing technology direction, and securing design wins that drive long-term value for both Molex and the customer.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute a strategic account growth plan for a leading enterprise infrastructure customer
- Build strong, trusted relationships with customer engineering and technical decision-makers to secure new design wins
- Drive technology roadmap alignment between Molex and the customer, ensuring early engagement in next-generation platforms
- Identify and pursue new growth opportunities across the broader ecosystem, including adjacent partners and platforms, to expand Molex’s presence
- Champion Voice of the Customer (VOC) insights to influence Molex product strategy and innovation priorities
- Lead cross-functional collaboration between engineering, product management, and sales teams to deliver differentiated customer solutions
- Position and expand adoption of Molex’s full portfolio (copper, fiber, and interconnect solutions) to increase share of wallet
- Support resolution of technical challenges through close partnership with internal and customer engineering teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, Physics, or related field)
- Experience within the electronics or hardware industry, preferably in compute, storage, or networking systems
- Customer-facing experience working with engineering or technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and drive outcomes in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in hyperscale, cloud, enterprise server, or high-speed interconnect ecosystems
- Background supporting or influencing hardware design, qualification, or system architecture
- Mechanical engineering experience with exposure to interconnects or hardware design
- Proven ability to influence without authority across cross-functional teams
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value
- Self-driven with an ownership mindset, proactively identifying and pursuing growth opportunities
- Experience aligning customer technology roadmaps with internal product strategies
