The Job:
Stanley Assembly Technologies, a leader in advanced manufacturing solutions, is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our market presence. In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse customer base, channel partners, and internal teams to deliver innovative solutions and exceptional customer experiences. You’ll leverage your technical acumen, strategic mindset, and passion for industrial technology to help shape the future of manufacturing.
You'll get to:
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve revenue growth and market expansion targets.
- Cultivate strong relationships with industrial customers, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Manage channel partnerships and distributor relationships to maximize sales opportunities.
- Provide technical guidance on product applications and engineered systems, supporting customers in manufacturing environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates using digital tools such as Salesforce.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Industry 4.0 trends and Stanley Black & Decker’s product innovations.
- Ensure superior customer experience through proactive engagement and problem-solving.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% as required by business needs.
You also have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT/Computer Science, Communications, or related field required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field.
- Strong project management skills and a self-starter attitude.
- High mechanical and technical aptitude; eagerness to learn about new industrial applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Salesforce preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Industrial environment experience is preferred

The Total Target Cash Compensation range for this position is $84,000.00 - $156,000.00
- This is the lowest to highest total target cash compensation range we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Total target cash compensation offered may vary depending on multiple factors including job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and in compliance with local wage requirements. This role is eligible for a sales incentive plan or commission. Therefore, the total target cash compensation range is inclusive of base salary and target variable cash compensation. Please note that salary is only one component of total rewards at Stanley Black & Decker.
