The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) is the driving force behind Maxliner’s success. The primary goal of the Sales Manager is to build lasting relationships, execute sales initiatives, and deliver cost- effective and proven trenchless infrastructure solutions and suite of products in a given region. This individual is responsible for developing target accounts and maintaining and driving new business within the territory. The suite of products for small diameter or point repair rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads all sales and account/planning, forecasting, reporting, management efforts for assigned accounts within territory
- Brings core product specification knowledge, application, and value to the customer
- Conducts meetings to present company mission and offerings to decision makers
- Understands, assesses, and anticipates customers’ objectives, strategies, and requirements to identify and pursue sales opportunities
- Obtains product approvals through presentations and supporting submittal development
- Acquires new customers to maximize supply center revenue
- Escalates customer service issue follow-up
- Negotiate contracts, proposals, and terms
- Strategically manages through feedback from customers and market
- Works closely with supply center and corporate resources to have them enter & fulfils orders
- Self-motivated
- Organized and detail oriented
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to understand basic technical aspects of construction
- Ability to multitask and complete work while traveling.
- Thorough knowledge of territory, market, and clients.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Prepared for frequent travel
- 3 + years of sales experience (preferably in related field)
- Knowledge of the industry or related is a plus
