Business Development Manager, Mining Segment

The Role: Business Development Manager — Alberta, Canada

You won't just be selling tires. You'll be building partnerships with mine operators, contractors, and fleet managers who run 24/7 operations in some of the most demanding environments on earth. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape our Canadian market strategy with the full backing of a global OTR tire manufacturer.

What You'll Do:

• Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across Canadian mining and heavy construction sectors

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers at mine sites, OEMs, and rental fleets

• Develop market intelligence on competitor activity, customer fleet profiles, and procurement cycles

• Collaborate with our technical and logistics teams to deliver tailored tire solutions and after-sales support

• Represent Hai'an Rubber at industry events, mine sites, and regional mining associations

Who You Are: •

8+ years of proven B2B sales or business development experience in mining, heavy equipment, or OTR tires

• Deep understanding of the Canadian mining landscape — you know the players, the procurement process, and the culture

• Self-disciplined and results-oriented: you thrive with autonomy and deliver without micromanagement

• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential; additional languages are a plus

• Legal authorization to work in Canada is required

• OTR tire knowledge is strongly preferred — you understand tire sizes, applications, TCO, and fleet uptime economics

• Existing network within Canadian mining operations is a significant advantage

• Willingness to travel across Alberta and occasionally to corporate headquarters
