Role Purpose
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Manager to drive business growth, expand our customer base, and build long-term partnerships across the ICT and System Integration market. You will lead opportunity identification and capture while positioning Innovera Academy as a strategic differentiator that complements our technology solutions and deepens client engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the business development strategy aligned with corporate objectives and revenue targets.
- Identify new business opportunities, target markets, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise, government, and private-sector clients.
- Lead customer acquisition and expand existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling.
- Manage the complete business development lifecycle from opportunity identification to contract signing.
- Collaborate with Sales, Pre-Sales, Marketing, and Technical teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Lead participation in enterprise tenders and manage relationships with technology vendors and partners.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and monitor industry trends.
- Prepare business forecasts, pipeline reports, and revenue growth plans for executive management.
- Promote Innovera Academy as a value-add component of client digital transformation journeys.
- Achieve revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets.
Core Technical Competencies (Must-haves)
- Proven business development and sales experience within a System Integrator or Value-Added Reseller (VAR).
- Strong tender and contract management skills with experience leading enterprise procurement processes.
- Skilled in market research, competitor analysis, and strategic planning.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, networking, data center, cloud solutions, AI, unified communications, and digital transformation.
- Familiarity with promoting training or certification programs is a strong advantage.
Skills required:
- Strategic Thinking: Anticipate market shifts and position solutions for long-term success.
- Relationship Building: Establish trust with C-level executives, government stakeholders, and decision-makers.
- Negotiation & Influence: Navigate complex negotiations and drive mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Results Orientation: Relentless focus on achieving revenue and profitability targets.
- Collaborative Drive: Work cross-functionally with sales, technical, and Academy teams.
- Resilience & Adaptability: Pursue long sales cycles in a fast-paced, evolving industry.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related field. MBA is a strong advantage.
- 7–12 years of ICT industry experience, including at least 3 years in Business Development leadership.
- Proven experience within a System Integrator, VAR, or technology solutions provider.
- Strong network within enterprise and government sectors is highly preferred.
- Excellent negotiation, contract management, and tender management skills.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication abilities.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Willingness to travel when required.
