Job Summary
The Field Sales Specialist is responsible for identifying new sales opportunities, developing and implementing sales strategies, and maintaining existing client relationships. They analyze market trends, evaluate potential areas for growth, and provide strategic recommendations to senior management. The Specialist also conducts product demonstrations, prepares sales forecasts, and provides technical support to clients. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of sales processes and the water industry.
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients
- Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities in assigned territory
- Conducting product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients
- Collaborating with marketing team to create and implement sales strategies
- Attending industry events and conferences to promote company's products
- Tracking and reporting on sales activity and performance
- Providing exceptional customer service and support to clients
- Researching and identifying potential clients in assigned territory
- Cold calling and networking to generate leads and expand client base
- Conducting market research and staying updated on industry trends and competition
- Setting and achieving sales targets in assigned territory
- Collaborating with sales team to meet overall company goals
- Providing training and support to new and existing sales team members
- Monitoring and analyzing sales data to identify areas for improvement
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients
- Understanding and addressing clients' needs and concerns
- Acting as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure client satisfaction
- Identifying opportunities for upselling and cross selling products to existing clients.
- Strategic Vision and Foresight: Senior professionals should have the ability to develop and communicate a clear vision for the future, anticipate trends, and prepare the organization to adapt to changes. This involves understanding the broader industry context and aligning team efforts with long-term objectives.
- Mentorship and Talent Development: They should actively mentor junior colleagues, helping to shape the next generation of leaders. This includes sharing knowledge, providing guidance, and supporting career development opportunities for their teams.
- Influential Leadership: Senior professionals must be able to influence and inspire others, both within and outside the organization. This requires strong communication skills, credibility, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- BS/BA degree in environmental or process engineering or related discipline or advanced degree , or a related field with at least 5 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts
- .Prior commercial experience in the Middle East
- Previous experience as a Business Development Specialist in a related industry.
- Proficiency in integrated business management and CRM software, such as NetSuite and Odoo.
- Advanced knowledge of business development, marketing strategies, and brand expansion.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Arabic language skills
- Innovation: Propose creative solutions.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software is also beneficial.
- Planning, Scheduling, Budgeting & Resource allocation.
- Effectively manage improvement projects throughout the project’s life cycle, ensuring strategic alignment and deliverable focus.
