Business Development Manager - Bucharest

Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to join our team in Bucharest, focusing on Ocean and Air Freight services. This is a strategic role aimed at developing and expanding our presence in these areas, identifying new opportunities, and building strong client relationships within the logistics and freight forwarding sector.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement business development strategies for ocean and air freight.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, and negotiate contracts.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to inform strategy.
• Represent the company in industry events and support marketing initiatives.

Profile / Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within ocean and air freight/logistics.
• Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, international shipping, and supply chain processes.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and developing business.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• English – advanced (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
• Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
