Are you a field-based sales professional with experience selling into merchants, contractors, developers or the wider construction sector?

We're recruiting for an Area Sales Manager to take ownership of a South West and South Wales territory for a well-established manufacturer within the construction products sector.

This role would suit somebody who enjoys developing relationships, winning new business and building territory performance.

The Role

• Manage and develop an existing customer base across South West England and South Wales.
• Drive new business growth through merchants, contractors, developers and installers.
• Increase market share across the region.
• Build long-term customer relationships and identify project opportunities.
• Deliver territory growth through a proactive field sales approach.

What We're Looking For

• Proven field sales experience.
• Experience selling within construction, building products, roofing, civils, drainage, merchants, building materials or related sectors.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Experience managing a geographical territory.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach to business development.
• Full UK driving licence.

Location

Due to where the majority of customers and opportunities are located, candidates should ideally be based within:

• Bristol
• Gloucester
• Cheltenham
• Hereford
• South Gloucestershire
• Surrounding areas

This is a field-based role, therefore, candidates should be located within reasonable commuting distance of the South West territory.
