Responsibilities
1. BD Process Support & Internal Coordination
- Pre-sales & Negotiation Support: Provide backend support for BD colleagues during client visits and negotiations, including preparing pipeline & technical Q&A materials and competitive benchmarking analysis.
- Cross-functional Resource Coordination: Serve as the bridge between BD and internal R&D, Legal, Finance and other departments to coordinate resources for rapid response to due diligence requests from partners; drive internal alignment on project value; track key milestones of strategic partnerships and communicate updates internally.
- Solution Materials Development: Based on in-depth analysis, produce professional materials for external business negotiations, including but not limited to customized partnership proposals, project feasibility analysis reports, and technical due diligence summaries.
- Knowledge Repository Management: Maintain and organize the existing presentation library and data storage, enabling systematic knowledge retention and efficient reuse.
2. Research & Project Evaluation
- Market & Competitive Analysis: Regularly collect and analyze industry dynamics, technology trends (e.g., peptides, oligonucleotides, AI-driven drug discovery), competitive landscape, and patent information; deliver high-quality analysis reports.
- Target & Disease Research: Proficiently utilize databases (e.g., Citeline, Cortellis) to evaluate target innovation, market potential, and technological synergies.
- Valuation Modeling & Deal Analysis: Apply financial models (e.g., rNPV) for project valuation; assist in designing flexible deal structures (e.g., license-out, co-development).
Requirements
Education: Master's degree or above in Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Medicine, or related field. Candidates with both technical background and business knowledge (e.g., MBA) or a Ph.D. degree are preferred.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry.
- Experience in market analysis, business development, portfolio strategy, or investment analysis at Biotech, Pharma, or related investment/consulting firms.
- Familiarity with the full drug discovery and development pipeline; strong understanding and genuine interest in cutting-edge technology areas (e.g., peptides, oligonucleotides).
- Prior experience in license-out, co-development, or similar deal transactions is a plus.
Language: English proficiency to serve as working language.
