BD Manager/Senior Manager(CDMO)

Our client is a fast growing chemistry CRO/CDMO supporting the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry, biotech, and specialty chemistry industries. The client specialize in medicinal chemistry SAR development to process optimization for multi-ton manufacturing. The technical teams have achieved exceptional successes for our clients earning our reputation for being responsive and flexible. The BD position will leverage their drug discovery background to drive revenue growth in medchem CRO and API manufacturing CDMO businesses.

Job responsibilities:

1.Manage business development efforts for the company in assigned territories within the US with the objective of increasing business and developing the company brand in the territory.

2.Lead generation- identify prospects based on primary market research for for CRO/ CDMO offerings .

3.Conference/ Event planning- coordinate with marketing department and prepare plan for conferences within territory for business development activities.

4.Cold-calling- for identified leads, initiate communication (digital, phone-calls or in-person meetings) and promote the company CRO/ CDMO offerings.

5.Proposal management- Once project opportunities (RFPs) are received from customers, reach out to internal stake-holders for coordination and compilation of formal offer.

6.Work report- provide regular updates of work done in the territory in terms of customers reached, calls done, opportunities created on a monthly basis.

7.CRM- Document all information regarding leads and customers in CRM for record-keeping and tracking.

8.Diligently follow-up with customers for timely collection of any outstanding invoices.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor or Masters degree in chemistry or science or management;
2. 2+ years of BD experience in pharmaceutical industry (discovery CRO or CDMO preferred);
3. Go-getter and self-driven personality with a strong sense of responsibility;
4. Good interpersonal communication skills, pioneering spirit, strong customer service awareness and team spirit.
