What You Will Be Doing
- Attends and participates in outreach events within one Division to network and engage with new businesses that the Company might collaborate with in the future. Represents the Company culture and brand in personal brand at business and outreach events.
- Markets Company advantages to business contacts and vendors to build relationships and ensure Company can achieve pursuit goals or comply with GFE requirements.
- Identifies and communicates DBE and SBE requirements in bid documents to ensure pursuit team is aware of Owner expectations.
- Sends notifications and quote requests to local business entities to ensure pursuit has best opportunity to reach pursuit and pricing objectives. Collects and tracks all quotes and responses to include in Good Faith Effort (GFE) documentation on each pursuit assigned.
- Tracks and assembles all pre and post-bid documentation regarding DBE and SBE entities to satisfy Company and contractual obligations.
- Manages Company certification status in Owner’s database to ensure all approved subcontractors and vendors registered before bid submittal.
- Support project management team contacting and resolving issues with subcontractor or vendor businesses
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 5+ years’ experience in construction industry, supplier, Small Business (SBE), Disadvantaged Business (DBE) or estimating experience required.
- Expert knowledge of DBEs and SBEs in respective division. Ability to connect and build positive business relationships with entities and determine possible project partnerships through networking.
- Able to travel for outreach events and industry networking events.
