Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the commercial restoration and construction market, including prospecting, lead generation, and managing the sales pipeline. Day-to-day tasks include conducting client meetings, preparing proposals and presentations, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with operations teams to ensure service offerings align with client needs. The Business Development Manager will maintain and grow existing accounts, track market trends, participate in industry events, and provide regular reporting on performance metrics and revenue targets. This position works closely with leadership to shape business development strategies and support long-term partnership growth.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in restoration, construction, or related services.
- Strong skills in prospecting, lead generation, and pipeline management, with the ability to close complex B2B deals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, including the ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform business development strategies.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment, including client site visits in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area and remote work.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and standard office software; familiarity with sales reporting and forecasting tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in emergency services, facilities management, or property restoration is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for client meetings and site visits as needed.
