Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater New Orleans Region. This position is responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and expanding INDECO-TX’s presence in target markets. Day-to-day activities include conducting market research, prospecting and meeting with potential customers, preparing proposals and presentations, and negotiating contracts in collaboration with internal teams. The role also involves coordinating with operations, finance, and technical staff to ensure solutions align with customer requirements and company capabilities. The Business Development Manager will track pipeline activity, report on sales metrics, and contribute to strategic planning to support revenue growth and customer retention.
Qualifications
  • Experience in business development, sales, or account management in industrial, commercial, or related sectors.
  • Strong skills in relationship building, customer engagement, and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to conduct market analysis, identify growth opportunities, and develop targeted sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in preparing and delivering professional presentations, proposals, and sales documentation.
  • Solid negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Comfort with CRM tools and basic office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentations) to manage pipeline and reporting.
  • Proven ability to work on-site, travel within the Greater New Orleans Region as needed, and manage time effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of industrial or construction markets in Louisiana or the Gulf Coast region is a plus.
