The Role

Are you a charismatic, high-performing commercial leader with a deep passion for the creative and media landscape?

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager, coming strictly from a communication, digital, or advertising agency background to fuel our next phase of growth in Spain.

Reporting directly to the CEO and Spain Country Manager, you will lead our commercial strategy, expand our portfolio of national and international brands, and translate our creative and strategic service offerings into high-value business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Commercial Strategy & Growth: Design and execute the agency’s business development plan to consistently meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets.
• High-Level Networking: Actively hunt and secure new business opportunities by leveraging your existing network of C-level executives, Chief Marketing Officers (CMOs), and key corporate decision-makers.
• Pitch Leadership & RFP Management: Lead, supervise, and actively participate in building strategic commercial proposals and delivering winning agency pitches.
• Market Analysis & Reporting: Track sales KPIs, monitor advertising industry trends, and analyze market shifts to proactively identify new client needs and opportunities.

What We Are Looking For

• Proven Agency Track Record: 7+ years of sales/business development experience, with a minimum of 5 years strictly within communication, digital, media, or advertising agencies (agency-side experience is mandatory).
• An Elite Network: A robust, active, and verified network of contacts among Marketing Directors, CMOs, and corporate decision-makers.
• Deep Industry Expertise: Strong understanding of the modern advertising ecosystem (digital, events, branding, PR, social media) and agency pricing models (retainers, project fees, performance-based pricing).
• Inspirational Leadership: Exceptional negotiation, public speaking, and presentation skills, with a natural ability to collaborate across cross-functional creative and strategic teams.
• Languages: Full professional proficiency in English is essential (for managing international accounts and global pitches). Fluency in Spanish is strongly Valued.
