Our client, a global legal tech business that works with the world’s leading law firms and corporations are looking for a Market Development Associate to help drive the next phase of regional expansion following continued growth.

This isn’t a traditional sales role and it isn’t purely marketing. You’ll be at the centre of developing the market, building relationships, identifying opportunities, working alongside senior stakeholders and helping shape how the business grows across the region.

What you’ll be doing

• Build relationships with leading law firms, arbitration centres and key legal stakeholders across the Middle East.
• Develop strategic target accounts and regional growth plans.
• Represent the business at conferences, roundtables, client events and industry panels.
• Work closely with clients throughout the commercial journey, ensuring an excellent client experience.
• Identify upcoming hearings, disputes and new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with Commercial Operations, Client Success and Marketing to support opportunities from first conversation through to delivery.
• Help launch and promote new AI-led products into the legal market.
• Work with Marketing on regional campaigns, newsletters, events and thought leadership.
• Manage regional BD budgets, reporting and Salesforce data.
• Lead a variety of regional projects as the Middle East business continues to grow.

What we’re looking for

Experience in one or more of the following:

• Proven experience in a client-facing business development, account management or client success role, ideally within legal, dispute resolution or a related professional services environment.
• Understanding of arbitration, litigation and dispute resolution processes and familiarity with the MEA legal and arbitration landscape.
• Strong communication skills and confidence leading meetings, presenting to clients and delivering demos
• Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders, with credibility and gravitas to influence.
• Outgoing and proactive, taking advantage of opportunities to network with prospects and clients.
• Agile and self-motivated, capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment and prioritising effectively.
• Commercial acumen and the ability to think strategically.
• Team player and a self-starter, willing to roll up your sleeves to drive the execution of tasks.
• Knowledge of and experience using CRM solutions (e.g. Salesforce), business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI) and PowerPoint.
• Based in the MEA region (e.g. Dubai/Abu Dhabi), with a willingness to travel.
• Arabic language skills desirable.
