Role Description the Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Seattle, WA. This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with prospective and existing clients, and driving revenue growth through consultative selling. Day-to-day tasks include researching target markets, qualifying leads, conducting client meetings and presentations, preparing proposals, and negotiating contract terms in collaboration with internal teams. The Business Development Manager will work closely with marketing and delivery teams to align service offerings with client needs, track sales performance, and provide regular pipeline and forecast updates to leadership. This role also involves representing Advantage TA at industry events, gathering market intelligence, and continuously refining business development strategies to support the company’s growth objectives.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in professional services, staffing, or talent acquisition.
- Strong skills in prospecting, lead qualification, pipeline management, and closing new business while maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Ability to conduct market research, analyze trends, and translate insights into actionable business development strategies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, with confidence interacting with stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
- Proven organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Comfort working in an on-site, collaborative environment and partnering cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and delivery teams.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and standard business software (e.g., Salesforce or similar, MS Office or Google Workspace).
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Background in talent acquisition, HR solutions, or consulting is beneficial but not required.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented approach, with a commitment to ethical, inclusive, and customer-focused business practices.
