The role you'll play:
The PICS DocLib Sales Development Representative (SDR) is the tip of the spear for new business. The person who opens doors, sparks interest, and builds the pipeline that fuels our growth. Working remotely alongside our Account Executives, you will research target accounts, engage prospects through outbound calls, email, and social selling, and uncover Accounts Payable automation opportunities across the ERP ecosystems we serve, including QAD, NetSuite, and beyond. Our premiere product, DocLib, is primarily focused within the Accounts Payable space and automating the Supplier Invoice process. Your mission is to find the pain, start the conversation, and book qualified meetings that convert into revenue.

Your main tasks:
• Generate and build pipeline through high-volume, multi-channel outbound outreach including cold calls, personalized emails, and LinkedIn / social selling to targeted accounts within the QAD, NetSuite, and broader ERP markets
• Research accounts and identify key decision-makers across Accounts Payable, Finance, IT, and Controller functions to craft tailored, value-based messaging around AP automation and the Supplier Invoice process
• Qualify inbound leads generated from marketing campaigns, webinars, trade shows, and the website, ensuring timely and consistent follow-up
• Book qualified discovery meetings and product demos for Account Executives, and cleanly hand off context so every opportunity is set up to win
• Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for qualified meetings and sales-accepted opportunities
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all prospecting activity, contacts, and pipeline stages in the CRM
• Learn and articulate the value of DocLib and DocIndex, handling early objections with confidence
• Attend Sales Team and All Hands meetings to provide insight into the top of the pipeline and support company-wide goals
• Partner with Marketing to share feedback on campaigns, messaging, and lead quality
What you bring to the table:
• BA/BS degree optional (or relevant work experience) – let’s be honest . . . you can dominate without a degree
• 1–3 years of sales development, inside sales, or business development experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or enterprise software
• A proven track record of meeting or exceeding outbound activity and pipeline-generation targets
• Familiarity with ERP platforms or third-party add-on software applications a strong plus (QAD, NetSuite, and similar)
• Experience with a CRM and modern sales-engagement tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach, SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo)
• A hunger for overachieving targets in new business acquisition
• Strong communication skills over phone, social, and email
• Shown creative problem-solving approach
