At RONA, you do more than produce quotes: you hold a pivotal, highly specialized role within your district. You turn plans into real business opportunities for your colleagues by delivering estimates that are accurate, realistic, and immediately actionable in-store.

Beyond the technical aspect, you play a key advisory role by bringing clarity to customers’ budget considerations and acting as a trusted reference for your colleagues, leveraging your deep expertise and strong command of the field.

Your role:

• Translate architectural and structural plans into accurate, detailed estimates
• Produce strategic quotes that increase win rates on key projects
• Develop technical solutions, including engineered wood layouts (beams, joists)
• Recommend optimized, code-compliant alternatives
• Act as a technical reference for store sales teams and PRO customers
• Collaborate with key stakeholders (clients, engineers, architects)
• Manage and prioritize a high volume of high-impact requests
• Drive conversion and contribute directly to PRO sales growth

What we're looking for:

• Advanced ability to read and interpret construction plans
• Proven expertise in estimating within construction environments
• Strong technical judgment and solution-oriented mindset
• Deep knowledge of building materials and building codes
• Precision, rigor, and ability to perform under pressure
• Experience with wood-frame construction and engineered wood (strong asset)
