Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the business development strategy in alignment with the company's objectives and market direction.
Identify new opportunities within target sectors and convert them into viable business opportunities.
Represent the company at meetings, exhibitions, and industry platforms to build and strengthen professional relationships.
Propose strategic partnerships with organizations that add meaningful value to OMQ's operations within the events industry.
Oversee the preparation of company presentations, corporate profiles, and commercial proposals.
Coordinate with the Creative and Operations teams to develop tailored solutions that meet the needs of prospective clients.
Lead contract negotiations and commercial partnership discussions in collaboration with the Finance Department.
Conduct market analysis, monitor competitors, and recommend appropriate business development strategies.
Lead, mentor, and supervise the Business Development team to achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Prepare periodic reports on sales performance, business expansion metrics, deal outcomes, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Support commercial marketing efforts by collaborating with the Marketing team on promotional and brand awareness campaigns focused on business growth.
Maintain ongoing engagement with strategic clients to ensure long-term relationships and high levels of client satisfaction.
Recommend innovative business development initiatives that strengthen OMQ's position as a strategic partner in the events industry.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA or master’s in business administration or Commercial Relations preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, and strategic partnerships.
Experience in events or entertainment industry is a strong advantage.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
Strong understanding of the sales cycle and sales pipeline management.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships.
Ability to develop professional commercial proposals and deliver compelling presentations to clients.
Proficiency in CRM systems, presentation tools, and opportunity analysis.
Languages: Fluent in Arabic and professionally proficient in English.
