The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving commercial growth by winning new business, developing client relationships, and ensuring that commercial commitments align with operational delivery. The role serves as the main point of contact for new business opportunities while supporting account growth and long-term client partnerships.Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new client opportunities across restaurants, hotel groups, catering companies, venues, and events firms.
- Prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close new staffing contracts.
- Build and manage a pipeline of leads.
- Develop new partnerships and expand Shine's network across the F&B and hospitality market.
- Represent Shine at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.
- Understand client requirements and project details before any commitments are made.
- Ensure commercial commitments align with operational capabilities and available talent.
- Manage client relationships, driving retention, repeat business, and renewals.
- Conduct regular client meetings to understand upcoming staffing requirements.
- Identify opportunities to grow and expand existing accounts.
- Prepare tailored proposals and commercial offers based on client requirements.
- Negotiate commercial terms while maintaining company standards.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity and provide insights to leadership.
- Strong knowledge of the F&B sector.
- Proven sales and business development experience.
- Ability to work closely with Operations to align commercial commitments with service delivery.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
- Confident engaging with senior decision-makers.
