Business Development & Sales Growth
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for Mechanical Face Seals (MFS) and
- Identify opportunities for MFS/RSS account growth and upselling, working collaboratively
objectives.
- Generate and qualify sales leads through market mapping, OEM engagement, and
- Develop strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Prepare sales forecasts and business plans.
- Build relationships with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and major industrial customers.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from inquiry to order closure.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, contracts, and supply agreements.
- Ensure long-term customer retention and account growth.
- Understand customer application requirements and recommend suitable sealing
- Coordinate with Application engineering and product teams for:
- Product selection,
- Custom seal design,
- Application validation
- Failure analysis
- Present technical product capabilities and advantages to customers.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Identify emerging opportunities in new sectors and geographic regions.
- Analyze customer requirements, pricing trends, and competitor product offerings.
- Gather Voice of Customer (VOC) inputs for product improvement and innovation.
- Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams on new product introductions.
- Support product testing and validation programs with customers.
- Address customer concerns relating to:
- Product performance
- Delivery issues
- Work with quality and application engineering teams for corrective actions.
- Maintain CRM and sales pipeline data.
