About CPAS: Capital Procurement and Services is an integrated division of Neta Scientific, Inc. that provides new and existing customers within the global science market with convenient access to end-to-end lab services and insights.
The Business Development Manager is primarily responsible for driving revenue growth through the acquisition and expansion of strategic customer relationships while managing capital equipment procurement and service engagements. Service offering to include OEM Contracts, Procurement, Capital Equipment and Relocation Services.

• Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities through strategic prospecting, networking, and relationship-building activities. Setting sales targets with teams as needed.
• Drive revenue growth by establishing and expanding long-term partnerships with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic, and life science organizations.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute sales strategies, territory plans, and growth initiatives that align with business objectives.
• Present and articulate the value of Neta Scientific's Capital Procurement and Services (CPAS) solutions through consultative sales engagements, presentations, and customer meetings.
• Manage the full business development lifecycle, from lead generation and qualification through proposal development, contract negotiation, and deal closure.
• Lead and support category management initiatives, including the development and management of Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and strategic supplier partnerships.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing structures, service agreements, and procurement contracts with OEMs, suppliers, and customers.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by providing ongoing support and ensuring successful implementation of contracted services and solutions.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging opportunities, industry trends, and customer needs.
• Represent Neta Scientific and the CPAS division at industry conferences, trade shows, supplier events, and customer-facing engagements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, procurement teams, and executive leadership within customer organizations.
• Monitor customer satisfaction, proactively address challenges, and identify opportunities for account expansion and revenue growth.
• Analyze customer, supplier, and business performance data to develop actionable insights, measure success, and support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Customer Service, Operations, Finance, and Business Development teams to deliver exceptional customer experience and drive business results.
• Maintain expert-level knowledge of Neta Scientific's service portfolio, supplier network, industry trends, and market dynamics to effectively communicate value propositions and competitive advantages.
• Utilize CRM and business management tools to track sales activities, manage pipeline performance, forecast opportunities, and maintain accurate customer records.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process enhancements that improve operational efficiency, customer outcomes, and business growth.

Organizational Alignment
• Reports to the CPAS Division Manager.
• Works closely with the Customer Service Manager, and a team of CPAS Procurement Specialists as well as collaborating with our National Business Development Manager and Business Development Team.
Supervisory Responsibility
Individual Contributor - No direct reports; expected to provide informal leadership and mentoring for peers.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Neta Scientific, Inc. normally is open for business from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. You will be assigned a work schedule, and you will be expected to begin and end work according to the schedule. To accommodate the needs of our business, at some point we may need to change individual work schedules on either a short-term or long-term basis.
Travel
Travel approximately 20 -30% within North America to customer sites, industry conferences, supplier meetings and trade shows.
Required Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• 3+ years of Sales Experience B2B in Pharmaceuticals R&D Equipment Industry desirable
• 2+ years of Business Development Experience
• 2+ years of Business Analysis
• 2 years’ Project Management Experience desirable
• Valid Drivers’ License
Preferred Education and Experience
· BS in Science related field (i.e., Biology, Chemistry)
· MBA preferre
