Who We Are

Our mission has started. We are starting our own battery cell production in Battery Valley in Salzgitter and ramping up our headquarters for global cell production. The Strategy department is responsible for the development and implementation of the global PowerCo strategy. Responsibilities range from strategy development, market intelligence and business development to strategic partner management.

This is a temporary position as a parental leave replacement until 31.12.2028.

Your Role And Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end responsibility as process owner for strategic non-equity partnerships
  • Management of complex international projects and interdisciplinary project teams
  • Development and evaluation of business models, business cases, benchmarking and scenario analyses
  • Contract negotiations in coordination with the relevant departments at PowerCo and the Volkswagen Group
  • Preparation of decision papers and communication with top decision-makers at PowerCo and cooperation partners

What You Bring To The Team

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration/Economics/Industrial engineering/Law
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in a top international strategy consultancy, auditing firm (Big 4), investment bank, or a comparable corporate function
  • In-depth experience in managing complex interdisciplinary projects with international partners; negotiation experience desirable
  • Extensive knowledge of creating business models and business plans as well as benchmarking and scenario analyses; in-depth knowledge of IFRS is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills and business fluent in German and English
