Sales Representative

About the Company

NAG Marine is seeking a sales representative who is eager to join a growing company and help expand our sales footprint in the US Government and commercial maritime markets with focus on the US Navy, United States Coast Guard, Military Sealift Command, and related modernization and new build shipyards. The candidate must be committed to learning the technical aspects of the NAG Marine product lines and engaging prospects and customers from a technical sales perspective. The candidate will be expected to work and participate in a highly-collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environment.

About the Role

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities

• Generate and develop new customers and sales opportunities
• Travel to visit customers and attend trade shows and industry events
• Utilize CRM to track and log sales contacts and opportunities
• Become technically knowledgeable of the product lines
• Remain engaged through the complete sales cycle, from initial customer contact through fielded product support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• Eligible to secure a Secret Clearance
• 2+ years of technical sales experience
• Desire to learn technical aspects of the product lines
• Capable of working in a team environment
• Able to balance multiple tasks simultaneously

Preferred Skills

• Government sales experience
• Experience with shipboard instrumentation & control systems, and/or embedded computing hardware.
