As we continue to expand our global publishing footprint off the back of a successful Series B raise, we are looking for a Business Development Executive to help identify new revenue opportunities, identifying new partnerships with commerce partners, including traditional publishers, newsletters, and content creators.
Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and assisting with converting growth opportunities – such as prospecting and recruiting new publishers, and exploring new channels for growth.
Please note that this is a hybrid role for New York residents only, reporting in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at our office in midtown Manhattan.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in Linkby’s publisher acquisition strategy across North America, identifying opportunities to expand our footprint
- Assist across the sales cycle for select publisher partnerships – from list-building, prospecting, pitching, and assisting with the publisher launch and onboarding process
- Collaborate with the Director of Business Development to ensure a smooth handoff to the Publisher Partnerships team for all new partners
- Create and build relationships within publisher networks and media groups, positioning Linkby as an incremental revenue solution to publisher monetization challenges
- Represent Linkby at industry events and conferences, generating qualified leads
- Stay across competitor offerings and market movements to effectively highlight and communicate Linkby’s point of difference
- 3-5 years of experience in publisher management, business development, or affiliate sales specific to publishing or commerce
- Recruiting and managing publishers and content creators within an agency or brand environment is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of publisher monetization models and content-to-commerce strategies
- Existing relationships within content publishers in the North American market
- Strong commercial and analytical instincts with the ability to identify untapped opportunities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to cross-functional work
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for chasing down opportunities in a fast-paced, global environment
- $75,000 – $80,000 salary + quarterly bonus and competitive ESOP (employee stock ownership plan)
