Role Summary:

As the organisation expands its strategic and operational capabilities, there is a crucial need to appoint a Head of Finance. This key role is instrumental in guiding financial strategy, performance management, and corporate financial activities across international locations. Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of financial planning, including forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis.
• Maintain and enhance the company's financial models to support strategic decision-making.
• Prepare comprehensive reports for board meetings, investors, and executive leadership.
• Play a central role in fundraising activities and major investment negotiations.
• Analyse business performance metrics and provide actionable insights to optimise financial results.
• Oversee treasury functions, including cash flow management, accounts receivable, collections, and payroll.
• Ensure smooth month-end and year-end closing processes, coordinating with external accountants and auditors.
• Manage relationships with external partners, including legal counsel, financial institutions, and auditors.
• Build and improve financial reporting dashboards, operational metrics, and control processes.
• Evaluate and implement advanced finance systems and automation tools to improve efficiency.
• Streamline workflows and identify opportunities for leveraging AI and other technologies for financial automation.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO and leadership team on strategic planning, investment evaluation, and market expansion.
• Support commercial activities such as pricing, contract review, and risk assessments, translating strategic goals into measurable financial outcomes.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• 5-8 years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably within a high-growth technology or SaaS organisation.
• Proven expertise in financial planning and analysis, financial modelling, and developing scalable finance processes.
• Strong background in corporate finance, performance management, and strategic financial reporting.
• Experience managing financial systems, automation, and integrating new tools in a fast-moving environment.
• Hands-on experience with international operations and financial compliance.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and simplify complex financial data.
• Demonstrated resourcefulness, adaptability, and the ability to operate effectively under shifting priorities.
• Fluency in professional English; proficiency in French is advantageous.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Prior experience in the SaaS, startup, or scale-up technology sectors.
• Knowledge of international finance regulations and compliance standards.
• Experience working with financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
• Track record in leading organisational change within finance teams and systems.
