This position can be located anywhere in the US; however, the ideal candidate will be located in Alabama or Ohio
Responsibilities:
- Develop a business strategy to gain wallet share from the National Distributor
- Engage with key stakeholders corporately and in the field within the National Distributor to broaden our relationship
- Engage with customer’s product management to build product strategy
- Initiate sales activity in the field by performing MCR 360 assessments and Joint Sales calls
- Maintain daily records of opportunities, calls, and lead information in MCR Safety’s CRM Tool
- Proactively update sales strategies by mining internal reports and customer data to identify trends and areas of incline/decline
- Implement marketing strategies to position the MCR Safety brand at the forefront of the customer’s marketing strategy
- Measure customer’s field activity with our Regional Sales Managers and Business Development Managers by reviewing and verifying pipeline
- Meet assigned quotas, sales objectives and behavior goals
- Schedule, plan, and manage customer specific trainings
- Coordinate communications with other departments for proper handling of customer accounts, such as EDI, Warehouse, Traffic, Invoicing, Purchasing, Marketing, and Accounts Receivable
- Focus on becoming the product expert in your product category by attending trainings, gaining experience from your customers, reading trade journals and studying the competition
- High School diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- At least 3 - 5 years of Business-to-Business sales experience, preferably in the PPE industry, and experience in the manufacturing to distribution model.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to grow business profitability
- Previous Sales Management or General Management experience
- Previous experience within Redistribution preferred
- Demonstrated ability to develop a sales plan and execute it
- Effective written, verbal and presentation communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to build confidence and support of key customers; work effectively within a team concept
- Understanding of financial modeling and cost accounting
- Strong planning and project management skills
- Demonstrated effective decision-making skills
- Ability to travel up to 60%

- Paid time off, including (Pro-rated based on hire date):
- 10 vacation days and 2 personal days annually (prorated in the first year based on hire date).
- 40 hours sick for exempt | 56 hours sick for non-exempt per year, in accordance with Washington State law.
