About HydroJug
HydroJug is one of the fastest-growing hydration brands in the country. Founded in 2016 in Ogden, Utah, we've built a brand that resonates deeply with health-conscious, active consumers — and we've done it by staying close to our community, moving fast, and making products people actually love.
The Role
HydroJug is building out its B2B channel, and we’re looking for an individual contributor to develop new business in the corporate gifting and branded merchandise space. The focus is on small to medium sized regional companies — local employers, franchise groups, professional services firms, healthcare networks, and similar organizations that invest in gifting, employee recognition, and branded products year-round.
You’ll be working largely independently to identify the right buyers, build relationships, and close deals. The channel is early-stage, which means you’ll have room to shape the approach — and you’ll need to be comfortable doing that without a lot of infrastructure to lean on.
A background in consumer packaged goods sales is essential. You understand how physical products move, how buyers think, and what it takes to get a brand in front of the right people. That foundation will matter more than experience in any specific channel.
What You’ll Own
- Prospecting and developing a pipeline of regional businesses that are strong fits for corporate gifting, employee swag, and branded merchandise programs
- Managing the full sales cycle — outreach, discovery, proposal, and close — independently
- Building and maintaining relationships with the decision-makers who own gifting budgets: HR managers, office administrators, marketing leads, and business owners
- Developing a working view of which verticals and buyer profiles convert best, and refining your approach over time based on what you learn
- Partnering with operations and customer success to make sure new clients have a good experience from order through delivery
- Representing HydroJug at regional trade shows, business events, and in-person client meetings
Who You Are
- 4–6 years in CPG sales or business development — you’ve sold physical products and you understand how that process works
- Experience working with SMBs or regional accounts; corporate gifting or promotional products experience is a plus but not required
- Comfortable owning your own pipeline and results without a lot of hand-holding — this is an individual contributor role and you’ll be accountable for your own numbers
- Good at building real relationships with real people; you know how to earn trust in a room and over time
- Organized and self-directed — you manage your calendar, follow-through, and CRM without being asked
- Based in the Ogden area (or willing to relocate); comfortable with 30–50% travel
Compensation
Base Salary: commensurate with experience
Commission: Performance-based, tied to new business revenue
How Success Is Measured
- New business revenue closed vs. quarterly target
- Pipeline size and quality — number of qualified opportunities across active stages
- Client repeat order rate as accounts mature
