The Sales & Business Development Manager is responsible for driving profitable revenue growth by developing new business, expanding strategic customer relationships, and increasing market penetration across Hardy Pro-Air's target industries.
The ideal candidate is highly proactive, strategic, and execution-oriented, with the ability to develop direct customer relationships and drive opportunities to close. This position requires a strong sense of urgency, ownership mentality, and the ability to independently create and execute growth plans while coordinating cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and leadership.
Travel up to approximately 30% throughout North America.
Key Responsibilities
- Increase quotation activity, conversion rates, and customer engagement.
- Maintain strong follow-up discipline and drive opportunities through the sales cycle.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurate opportunity forecasts.
- Provide manufacturer’s reps with technical, commercial, and strategic sales support.
- Develop and grow direct relationships with end users, OEMs, EPC firms, contractors, and industrial customers.
- Represent Hardy Pro-Air at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings.
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Work closely with company leadership to identify strategic market opportunities and growth initiatives.
- Gather competitive intelligence and market feedback to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, scientific, business, or related discipline preferred.
- MBA a plus, but not required
- 5+ years of consultative industrial B2B sales experience, preferably involving engineered equipment or industrial systems.
- Experience selling in direct and indirect sales channels
- Strong background in industrial capital equipment.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
- Organized with strong follow-through
- Growth-oriented mindset with willingness to challenge the status quo
- Ability to develop strategic sales plans and independently execute them.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial manufacturing environment.

Compensation noted in posting consists of a base salary plus quarterly commissions as earned.
Salary range
$80,000 - $100,000 per year
