We are seeking an ambitious Business Development Specialist to drive aggressive growth across Manufacturing, Industrial, and OEM markets. We are looking for a proven New-Business Development Professional who enjoys identifying opportunities, creating demand, and closing high-impact strategic accounts.
For this role, experience selling ANSI/ISO-compliant safety labels, visual risk reduction solutions, industrial printing solutions, durable metal nameplates, product identification systems, or industrial graphics is essential!
Role Summary:
- Identify, target, and secure high-value manufacturing, industrial, and OEM customers.
- Develop strategic prospecting plans to penetrate new accounts and markets.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and industry engagement.
- Consistently generate qualified opportunities and exceed sales targets.
- Understand customer challenges related to product safety, workplace safety, compliance, identification, and branding.
- Position our portfolio as a comprehensive solution for visual risk reduction and durable graphic needs.
- Conduct discovery meetings, presentations, and solution demonstrations.
- Develop proposals, negotiate agreements, and close complex sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and leadership teams to execute customer acquisition strategies.
- Ensure a seamless transition of new accounts for long-term growth and customer success.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting.
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive activity.
- Monitor developments related to ANSI and ISO standards impacting customer operations.
- Identify emerging market opportunities and provide feedback to leadership.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Knowledge of ANSI and ISO safety standards.
- Experience working with OEMs, industrial manufacturers, machinery builders, automation companies, or related industries.
- 3+ years of successful B2B sales experience within industrial, manufacturing, technical, or OEM markets.
- Proven track record of developing new business and winning strategic accounts.
- Experience selling industrial printing solutions, safety labels, visual communication products, metal nameplates, industrial graphics, or related products.
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage a complex sales cycle from prospecting through close.
- Self-motivated, highly competitive, and results-driven.
