About The Role

Reporting to the National Industrial Sales Manager and based in Clayton, you'll drive business growth across Visy Logistics' industrial freight and transport solutions. This is a hands-on BDM role focused on identifying, securing and growing strategic customer partnerships.

Leveraging Visy's national logistics network, you'll deliver tailored supply chain solutions, win new business, and contribute directly to revenue growth. You'll bring proven logistics sales experience, commercial acumen, and a strong understanding of Operations, Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and NHVR requirements.

• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive growth across industrial freight and transport solutions.
• Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities into long-term customer partnerships.
• Build strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service and account growth.
• Collaborate with operational teams to design and deliver tailored logistics solutions.
• Prepare and present compelling commercial proposals that meet customer needs and objectives.
• Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting and performance reporting.

• Proven business development experience within logistics, transport, freight or supply chain solutions.
• A successful track record of winning new business, building sales pipelines, and delivering revenue growth.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop tailored customer solutions and long-term partnerships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• A strategic, proactive approach with a passion for identifying opportunities and achieving results.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, sales platforms, and the Microsoft Office suite.
