Business Development Officer

Manages the unique sales processes and generates sales for the company (TAWITECH Inc.) through proactive listening, understanding, and translating of all client’s business needs to actionable user stories, collaboration with all software stakeholders, and sharing insights on competitors and technologies available in the market. Acts as the primary advocate for the development team.

Specific Duties

Manages the sales process - prospecting, data gathering, costing and proposal preparation, negotiation, and closing, as well as managing the trial period and project deployment (per software solution)

Analyzes, specifies, and validates the business needs of stakeholders, through user stories, and collaborates with project sponsors to determine project scope and vision.

Clearly identifies project stakeholders and client behaviors/characteristics vis-a-vis customer requirements

Creates process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team, and translates conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to the development team.

Identifies and establishes scope and parameters of requirements analysis, and manages clients' expectations.

Works with the project team to prioritize features/requirements.

Assists in conducting research on products/technologies to meet requirements and to support purchasing efforts.

Analyzes and verifies requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.

Develops and utilizes standard templates to accurately and concisely write requirements specifications (creation of white papers).

Manages and tracks the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; redefines requirements and features as necessary.

Communicates changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements — verbally or through written documentation — to all stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood.

Manages the production support team and IT requirements of the company

Use Agile Methodology for project management, and able to plot activities in a gantt chart and/or other project management software

Organize the workload of the team via Jira, Dropbox

Participates in the QA of purchased technological solutions to ensure features and functions have been enabled and optimized.
