What you’ll be doing:
- Participate in a two-month instructor-led and on-the-job sales training program.
- Prospect and identify new business opportunities within an assigned territory.
- Set appointments and meet with prospective business customers.
- Develop new customer accounts and expand Staples’ B2B customer base.
- Build strong customer relationships and uncover business needs.
- Present tailored solutions, products, and services.
- Partner with sales support and product experts to deliver customer success.
- Achieve activity and sales goals including calls, emails, meetings, wins, and quota attainment.
- Manage customer interactions both virtually and in person as needed.
- Prepare for advancement opportunities into sales consultant and leadership career paths.
- Ability to identify customer challenges and recommend effective solutions.

- 1-3 years of sales experience.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- CRM knowledge and experience.

- Proven ability to manage multiple customer appointments and administrative responsibilities.

The salary range represents the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. The specific base pay may be influenced by a variety of factors to include the candidate's experience, skill set, education, geography, business considerations, and internal equity.
