About the role and team

As a Senior Merchant Operations Manager, you will lead UberEats Taiwan's merchant integration operations and catalog quality strategy, while partnering with global teams to direct a centralized GSS agent team that executes catalog operations at scale. This role sits at the intersection of operations, technical integration, global strategy, and cross-functional leadership - requiring someone who can drive local execution while shaping and aligning with global direction.

What you'll do

  • Product Operations - Own the end-to-end merchant operations products across catalog, menu, API, and offers; oversee onboarding of catalog and inventory systems, manage merchant-funded offer (MFO) integration and go to market strategy, and ensure merchant experiences are met consistently and at scale.
  • Catalog Health & Quality - Define and drive the local strategy for catalog health, selection accuracy, and enrichment quality; own key metrics (Found Rate, Conversion, Cancellations) and build improvement roadmaps that connect integration quality to downstream business outcomes.
  • GSS Team Direction & Global Collaboration - Partner closely with the global GSS management team to direct a 10+ person catalog agent team on day-to-day work priorities, quality standards, and execution targets; act as the primary business owner translating operational needs into clear, actionable direction for the GSS team.
  • Global Strategy & Cross-Regional Alignment - Represent the local market in global catalog strategy discussions; align with global Catalog, Product, and Operations counterparts on standards, tooling, and roadmap priorities; drive best practice sharing across regions (APAC, EMEA, LATAM, US) and feed local insights back to inform global direction.
  • CPG Ads Operations - Lead CPG Ads program operations including merchant acquisition coordination, campaign planning, performance monitoring, and readiness for new ad features; serve as the operational bridge between Commercial, Product, and Ads teams.
  • Performance & Insights - Category analysis, Own catalog quality, ads performance, and commercial dashboards; proactively surface data-driven insights to global stakeholders and use them to prioritize operational improvements and strategic decisions.

Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in operations, tech, analytics, consulting, or similar
  • Experience in technical environments (APIs, systems architecture) with ability to translate complexity into clear operational plans for cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical mindset; proficiency in data insights and advanced Excel
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate across global, cross-functional, and cross-cultural teams

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience with API integrations, catalog/product/inventory systems, or order management systems
  • Experience working with or directing BPO/GSS/agent teams in a matrix or globally distributed model
  • Background in ads operations, campaign management, or merchant-funded promotions
  • Experience in Grocery, Retail, Marketplace, or FMCG environments
  • Proficiency in automation or scripting tools (Python, Google Apps Script, VBA) is a plus
