Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth in the oil and gas/EPC sector. With minimum 10-15 years of relevant experience, the candidate will play a key role in expanding Stat-Marine’s market presence and securing high-value contracts.

Key Responsibiliti
- esConduct market research to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and potential clients in the oil and gas/EPC industry in Nigeri
- a.Follow up on opportunities identified and win new business in the oil and gas sector in Nigeri
- a.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including oil and gas operators, EPC contractors, and government agencie
- s.Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets and expand Stat-Marine’s market shar
- e.Lead the preparation and submission of bids, proposals, and pre-qualification documents for EPC and oil and gas projects, ensuring compliance with client requirements and local regulation
- s.Represent Stat-Marine at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the company’s services and enhance brand visibilit
- y.Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure profitable projects while ensuring alignment with company objective
- s.Work closely with project management, engineering, and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfactio
- n.Ensure adherence to Nigeria’s local content regulations and promote partnerships with local vendors and communitie
- s.Provide regular reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and market insights to senior managemen

Educational Qualifications, Experience, and Ski
- llsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a pl
- us.10-15 years of experience in business development, sales, or client management within the oil and gas or EPC industry in Niger
- ia.Strong understanding of the Nigerian oil and gas sector, including upstream, midstream, and downstream operations, as well as EPC project executi
- on.Familiarity with bid preparation, tendering processes, and contract negotiation in the oil and gas/EPC indust
- ry.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholde
