Business Development Executive

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate potential locations for new store openings and expansion.
• Lead negotiations with Landlords on tenancy terms, working closely with Legal to finalize agreements.
• Work closely with Operations to resolve Landlord related issues and operational challenges.
• Compile and verify all required documents from Landlords.
• Liaise with internal department such as Finance, Project, Operations to ensure compliance with internal processes.
• Liaise with external parties, including Landlords and Legal, to complete execution of tasks.
• Maintain proper filing of documents, both physical and server based.
• Maintain and update Business Development trackers and data on an ongoing basis.
• Prepare paperwork accurately and ensure it is ready for Manager's review and approval; perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirement:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, International Business,Marketing, Real Estate, Retail Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a Business Development,Commercial Leasing, or merchant onboarding (preferably in FMCG / F&B industry);demonstrated negotiation skills on tenancy terms with strong commercial sense.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft O􀆯ice applications. Good communication & interpersonal skills. Strong presentation skills with the ability to pitch efectivelyto the Landlords and small business owners alike.
• Attributes: Self-motivated, highly independent, able to manage time efectively,and adaptable to a fast-paced startup-like culture.
• Mobility: Must possess own transport and valid driving license, as the rolerequires regular travel.
• Languages: Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu. Ability to speak other languages or dialects in a plus.
