About the Role
The Global Business Development & Account Manager drives TTRacing's expansion into new international markets and manages relationships with existing overseas distributors, retail partners, and B2B accounts. This role owns the full cycle from identifying and pitching new partners to negotiating terms and managing the day-to-day account relationship — playing a key part in TTRacing's growth beyond Malaysia into Singapore, the US, Australia, and other global markets.
Job Description
- Identify, prospect, and develop new distributor, retail, and B2B partnerships in target international markets.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing overseas distributors, resellers, and corporate/bulk accounts to hit revenue and volume targets.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, minimum order quantities, and distribution agreements in line with company margins and brand positioning.
- Coordinate with product, marketing, and operations teams to ensure partners have the right product mix, marketing support, and stock availability.
- Monitor account performance, sales pipelines, and market trends, and report regularly on account health, forecasts, and growth opportunities.
- Represent TTRacing at overseas trade shows, exhibitions, and partner meetings as required.
- Support licensing and collaboration initiatives (e.g., entertainment IP partnerships) as they extend into new markets.
- Resolve escalated account issues (shipping, payment terms, disputes) in coordination with finance, logistics, and customer experience teams.
- Build and maintain a structured account management system (CRM, reporting cadence, account plans) to support scalable international growth.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Business, International Trade, Marketing, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in business development, key account management, or international sales, ideally with exposure to distributor/retail partnerships; candidates from consumer goods, furniture, electronics, or e-commerce sectors are a plus.
- Track record of prospecting, negotiating, and closing B2B deals, and managing ongoing partner relationships.
- Comfortable working across time zones and cultures, with strong cross-cultural communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Data-driven — able to read sales reports, forecasts, and market data to inform account strategy.
- Willingness to travel internationally for partner visits, trade shows, and market development.
- Strong command of English (additional languages relevant to target markets, e.g., Mandarin, an advantage).
- Self-directed, commercially minded, and comfortable operating with a degree of autonomy in a fast-growing company.
