Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned accounts to meet sales and order budget objectives, while addressing customer complaints, monitoring receivables, and controlling travel and entertainment expenses.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including Customer Service, Product Management and Manufacturing to drive operational success and achieve business objectives.
- Present and promote value-added products and technical services by analyzing data and delivering reports that support customer decision-making and acceptance.
- Determine with sales management and regional team members prescribed levels of call frequencies through accounts planning to include machine downtime coverage.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and market insight to support business planning and S&OP processes.
- Monitor account performance, market trends, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Support product installations, maintain accurate reporting and database records, and promptly escalate product performance or runnability issues.
- Bachelor Degree in Business, Engineering, Paper Science, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and sales experience.
- Minimum 5 years of B2B sales, account management, business development, or technical sales experience.
- Ability to identify customer needs and align solutions to business objectives.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical, operations, customer service, and leadership teams.
- Experience managing customer relationships and growing existing accounts within industrial, manufacturing, technical products, chemicals, process industries, capital equipment, or related markets preferred.
- Experience utilizing CRM systems to manage customer interactions, opportunities, and account plans.
- Must be willing to travel up to 85% of the time.
- Regularly required to talk and hear, stand and walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms.
- Climb stairs, walking, kneeling, pulling, warm temperatures, work around equipment.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds as needed.
