We act as our clients’ representative and are responsible for coordinating budgets, product sourcing, product development, delivery, warehousing, and installation on a project specific basis. Our service area includes the United States, with any eye to expand internationally.
Role Description
PKG Services’ Procurement Business Development Manager drives revenue by identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities with owners, developers, and management companies. Key responsibilities include managing the full sales cycle, conducting outbound prospecting (cold calling), lead generation, pipeline growth fostering client relationships, and collaborating with procurement teams to offer sourcing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Sales: Drive outbound sales, including cold calling and prospecting (phone calls, emails, meetings, social media outreach/posts, etc.) to build a pipeline of new clients in the hospitality, senior living, multi-family, and mixed-use sectors.
- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with owners, developers, architects, and designers.
- Proposal Development: Collaborate with management/operations teams to create compelling proposals and manage RFQs.
- Strategy & Growth: Develop targeted sales plans to grow the client base. Build and manage a consistent pipeline of prospects through proactive outreach and follow-up.
- CRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate sales records in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and provide weekly KPI (Key Performance Indicator) reporting.
- Industry Representation: Attend trade shows and network to identify strategic opportunities.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in B2B business development within the hospitality procurement, design, or FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, & Equipment) industry.
- Established history and relationships with owners, developers, operators, architects, and designers throughout the industry.
- Strong negotiating skills and business acumen.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, or related field.
