Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Prospect, develop, and grow relationships with manufacturers across automotive, medical, consumer products, industrial, and related markets.
- Customer Engagement: Visit customers, understand production challenges, and identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
- Opportunity Management: Gather technical requirements, coordinate with engineering teams, develop proposals, and lead commercial discussions.
- Pipeline & Forecasting: Maintain an active sales pipeline, manage opportunities through CRM tools, and provide accurate sales forecasts.
- Strategic Growth: Increase market share, develop long-term customer partnerships, and support company growth objectives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, estimating, project management, and leadership teams to deliver winning solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum three years of industrial sales, automation sales, manufacturing engineering, or related experience.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel approximately 40-50%.
- Valid driver's license.
- Experience selling custom automation or manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge of robotics, machine vision, controls, assembly systems, and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with automotive suppliers, OEMs, and industrial manufacturers.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
